ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP
Raising teenagers can be rewarding and also challenging as your teen (or tween) goes through the developmental stages of adolescence navigating school pressures, friends, independence and the influences of the digital and social media world. While teens confront life’s complexities, they may show signs of normal stress and anxiety - they may also exhibit intense emotions, concerning and at-risk behaviours, and mental health issues, such as depression.
Led by wellbe’s family social worker and psychotherapist, Lisa Azzopardi, this workshop will introduce parents and caregivers to an understanding of the workings of adolescent brain development and will share strategies to help families effectively communicate, navigate and thrive during these adolescent years. Teenage harmony does exist and Lisa will show you how to achieve it in your household!
