Meet
Julia Falzarano, MSW, RSW
Social Worker and Psychotherapist, former pediatric researcher & shameless Swiftie
for Julia, social work and therapy means helping individuals with challenges within the context of their families, workplaces, and communities, and connects personal issues to larger social ones.
Before diving into social work, Julia spent over five years as a research assistant on a fun pediatric health, nutrition, and development study. She completed her MSW practicum at a school board and has been a crisis intervention counsellor for victims of crime and tragic circumstances ever since.
She’s passionate about advocacy and served on the Graduate Student Association at the University of Toronto. Now, she’s rocking it on an advisory committee at the Ontario Association of Social Workers!
Julia finds meaning in supporting individuals with anxiety, social and emotional challenges, life transitions, troubles at school, grief and loss, and neurodevelopmental disorders like ADHD and Autism. She has a soft spot for working with children and teens!
With her warm, supportive, and strengths-based approach, Julia creates a friendly, non-judgmental space where everyone feels welcome. She values teamwork and is passionate about helping clients achieve their goals, develop practical life skills, and improve their quality of life in a holistic, enjoyable way.
